PROVIDENCE, R.I.  – Dartmouth women's swimming and diving concluded the Bruno Invitational by finishing in fifth place with 420.5 points.

The Big Green were ahead of Johns Hopkins (262) and Rider (134.5) and pretty close to Miami in fourth (467). Host Brown handedly won the meet with 992 points, ahead of Princeton in second place (852).

The final day of action was highlighted by
Mia Leko winning the 200-yard fly in an NCAA B-cut time of 1:58.99, breaking the Dartmouth record that had held since 2011.

Sarah Minnigh got the last day of finals started with her third-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:01.72), picking up 16 points and leaving a four-second gap between her and the swimmer from Johns Hopkins in fourth. Swimming in the B final of the 200-yard backstroke,
Caroline Poleway placed 13th (2:03.53), out-finishing someone from Villanova by two-tenths of a second.

In the 100-yard freestyle,
Ashley Post and
Summer Martin touched within two-tenths of a second of each other in 13th (51.10) and 14th (51.27), respectively.
Mackenzie Stumpf had another second-place finish, this time in the 200-yard breast (2:15.47), dropping over two minutes from her prelims swim.
Melanya Zaraska (2:20.64) and
Kenna Van Steyn (2:24.76) also earned a few points for Dartmouth.

On the 3-meter diving board,
Maggie Pionzio finished in fifth place (254.70) and picked up 14 points to go towards the team total.
Isabella Lichen (176.30) and
Allison Green (171.40) also earned some points in prelims.

The Big Green ended the weekend by taking fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:24.03). The team of Post,
Zoe Wortzman, Martin and Leko finished over a second ahead of Villanova.

Dartmouth's final meet before the New Year will take place on Friday, Dec. 7 at Bates.
