WEDNESDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team heads to Newton, Massachusetts, to take on No. 2 Boston College Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference battle.
LAST TIME OUT
• Dartmouth had its seven-game win streak snapped Saturday at home against No. 11 Penn.
• The Quakers overcame a second-half deficit and scored the final three goals of the contest to come away from Hanover with a 13-11 win.
• The loss was the first in Ivy play this season for Dartmouth who came into the game tied with Penn as the only two Ancient Eight teams without a loss in 2018.
• Leading the way for the Big Green was Campbell Brewer with three goals off the bench with Tori Chanenchuk scoring once and assisting on three more for a team-high four points.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
• Boston College is pretty good.
• How good? The Eagles are 14-0 this season with a 5-0 mark against ACC foes. Seven of their wins have come against ranked teams with two against top-10 programs.
• BC is second in the polls behind only Stony Brook, while also second to the Seawolves nationally in scoring offense (16.93) and scoring margin (7.93).
• Sam Apuzzo is third in the nation in points per game (5.86) and second in total goals with 56. Her nine-goal game at home against Navy is tied for the best mark in Division I this season and set a new single-game record at BC. Overall she has 82 points this season, 21 more than second-place scorer Dempsey Arsenault (62).
• In goal, Lauren Daly has been the mainstay in net with a 9.11 goals against average to go along with her .439 save percentage and 14 wins.
AGAINST BC
• All-time against the Eagles, Dartmouth owns a 19-2 mark.
• However, the only two losses have come in the last two seasons, with BC winning 16-9 in Hanover last spring and 14-9 in Newton during the 2016 campaign.
• Prior to those contests, the last time the teams met was the 2013 NCAA Tournament First Round in Syracuse with the Big Green winning, 11-8.
• Dartmouth won the first 19 all-time meetings.
RANKINGS
• Dartmouth moved back into the US Lacrosse Magazine rankings this week, earning the No. 20 spot.
• In the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll, the Big Green remain unranked.
AGAINST A RANKED OPPONENT
• For the third time in the last four games, Dartmouth will take on a ranked opponent.
• Currently, the Green and White have played the 23rd toughest schedule in the country and the fourth-most difficult slate of games of any Ivy League team in 2018 behind Cornell, Penn and Princeton, demonstrating how good the conference has been thus far.
CLOSING IN ON 200
• Kathryn Giroux continues to push her Dartmouth record for draw controls further away from other competitors.
• With eight more against Penn, Giroux now has 62 this season and 187 for her career.
• She ranks 11th nationally in draws per game this season with 6.89, second amongst all Ivy League players.
FROM THE ARC
• Despite going 0-for-1 from the 8-meter arc against Penn, Elizabeth Mastrio continues to lead the Ivy League in free-position goals per game at 1.22.
• That figure also is good for 12th in the country.

• The game will be carried live on ACC Network Extra as well as WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app.
