Men Ready for Outdoor Heps at Penn's Franklin Field

THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth men's track & field team will be put to the test this weekend as it takes on the rest of the Ivy League at the 2018 Outdoor Heptagonal Championship, held at Penn's Franklin Field.

HOW WE FINISHED LAST YEAR
The Big Green were fifth after both days of competition at Yale's Cuyler Field and Dwyer Track in the 2017 championship meet, finishing the weekend with 64 points.

ALL-IVY LEAGUE PERFORMERS
• Senior Nico Robinson '17 won the decathlon thanks to scoring 7338 points. In all, Robinson won the 100m, long jump, shot put and 110m hurdles, while taking second in the pole vault and third in both the high jump and discus. This helped him improve on his second-place finish from 2016's Heps.
• Benjamin Ose was the runner up in the decathlon, earning All-Ivy League Second-Team recognition. Ose was the decathlon winner of the pole vault and amassed 7192 points in the 10 events. Ose would go on to win the indoor heptathlon this year in Hanover and is one of the favorites for the outdoor title this weekend.
