Morgan Turner ’18 Drafted by Worcester Blades

HANOVER, N.H. – Morgan Turner '18 was the second former Dartmouth women's hockey player to be drafted this year by a Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) team, being picked by the newly minted Worcester Blades on Sunday.
Like teammate Ailish Forfar '16, Turner was pre-signed and was drafted in the second round.
The forward from Chicago, Illinois, appeared in 103 games throughout her time in Hanover, wrapping up her senior season with a career-high five points (1-4-5). She had more points as a senior than she did in her first three years combined.
Just days before the draft, it was announced that the Boston Blades would be relocating to Worcester, Massachusetts. After first coming to Boston in 2010 and being the first professional women's hockey team to play in the state, the team will now play at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center.
