THIS WEEKEND
Dartmouth heads to the Pacific Northwest to take on two Pac-12 opponents in Oregon and Oregon State this weekend. Up first is Oregon in Eugene on Friday night followed by Oregon State on Sunday in Corvallis.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green got out to a fast start to begin the 2018 season with two wins in the opening weekend. Dartmouth first took down Quinnipiac 2-0 in the season opener in Hanover, they then traveled to Rhode Island where they defeated the Rams 1-0 in overtime.
SCOUTING OREGON
The Ducks are off to a nice start to the new season with wins in their first two games over Stony Brook and Clemson both at home. Oregon then traveled to Nebraska and lost its first game of the season 2-0 to the Cornhuskers. In their most recent contest, the Ducks finished with a 1-1 tied against Kansas at Nebraska. Emma Addy and Marissa Everett lead the team with two goals apiece on the season.
AGAINST THE DUCKS
Dartmouth and Oregon have faced each other once before with the Ducks winning a tight 1-0 decision in 2009 in the Oregon State Tournament.
SCOUTING OREGON STATE
The Beavers are off to an 0-4 start with losses to Clemson, Stony Brook, Kansas and Nebraska. Oregon State was shut out in three out of the four losses. Their only goal came off the foot of Kate Evans in a 2-1 overtime loss against Stony Brook.
AGAINST THE BEAVERSÂ
Dartmouth and Oregon State have met twice with each side taking a game in 2008 and 2009. The Big Green won the first meeting in 2008, 1-0 in overtime at Burnham Field. The following year, the Beavers got revenge in their own tournament by defeating Dartmouth 2-0 in Corvallis.
OVERTIME
Freshman
Tracey Mills scored her first collegiate goal in overtime to defeat Rhode Island. It was the first overtime victory for the Big Green since the 2016 season after the Green and White went 0-4 in games that needed extra time last season.
SHUTOUTS
Sophomore goalkeeper
Mariel Gordon has yet to allow a goal this season over the first two games, including at Rhode Island in an overtime contest. Gordon finished with four saves in the team's first win against Quinnipiac at home, she then tallied five saves against the Rams in the Ocean State.
