No. 9 Dartmouth Women Handed Loss to No. 2 Trinity

HANOVER, N.H. – No. 9 Dartmouth women's squash faced the No. 3 ranked Trinity Bantams at home and fell, 8-1.

The Big Green fought hard, but the top eight for Dartmouth could not win a game. Caroline Mollenkopf was the only member of the Big Green to secure a victory, she swept her opponent, 11-6, 11-4 and 11-4.

Emma MacTaggart played a tough match, she hung around in the first two games falling by scores of 11-6 before dropping the third, 11-4. After not being able to score in the first game, Darden Gildea bounced back to make it close in the second and third games with scores of 11-6 and 11-5. Junnat Anwar and Emma Roberts both put up eight points in one of their games, but could not take any wins over the Bantams.

The Big Green hit the road for their next matchup at St. Lawrence at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27.
