CANTON, N.Y. – The No. 6 Dartmouth men's squash team picked up a non-conference win Sunday afternoon at No. 11 St. Lawrence, 5-4. The Big Green improve to 7-3 on the year, while St. Lawrence falls to 2-6.
Tucker Martino and
James Bell each won in five games. Martino split the first two games and fell in the third, putting his back to the wall, he then won the fourth game, 12-10 and secured the win in the fifth, 11-5.
James Bell also split his first two matches, won the third and lost the fourth, Bell then won the final game 12-10, in extra points.
Matt Giegerich won in four games, taking the first, 14-12 and lost the second before taking the final two games by scores of 11-9.
Jack Bell and
Drew Monroe each swept their opponents in three games to secure the win for Dartmouth.
The Big Green dive back into their Ivy League season on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Penn.
