TUESDAY
Dartmouth is looking to get back on track when they take a short trip to Massachusetts to face Merrimack, who is in their inaugural season as a division one program.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Big Green suffered a 1-0 overtime loss to defending Ivy League champion Princeton Saturday afternoon at Burnham Field.
- Mariel Gordon finished the day with eight saves, which is one shy of her career high that came against the Tigers in a scoreless draw last season.
- Dartmouth played well in the second half, Allie Winstanley had three shots in the final 15 minutes of regulation with one on goal. Hayley Soriano has the other shot on goal for the Big Green.
- Princeton sent home the game winner just four minutes into overtime when Tatum Gee sent a cross to Olivia Kane who headed it in.
SCOUTING MERRIMACK
- Understandably, the Warriors are having a rough go of it in their first D-I season with a 2-8-0 record.
- Last season in D-II, Merrimack went 8-7-2 and 5-7-2 in the Northeast 10 conference.
- The two wins in 2019 for the Warriors came at Vermont (2-1) and at home against Manhattan (5-3).
- The Warriors are being outscored 22-14.
- Molly Murnane, Bridget Austin, Taylor Robertson, Hallie Shiers and Izzy McDonnell are all tied for the team lead with two goals.
- Murnane, Austin and Nicole Langlois have the most assists with two.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE WARRIORS
- Dartmouth and Merrimack have played twice before in 1984 and 1985.
- The Big Green won convincingly each time with a 5-0 win in '84 at home and a 7-0 victory on the road in '85.
