HARTFORD, Conn. – Dartmouth squash, ranked No. 10 in the nation took on No. 2 Trinity on the road in its second match of the season and fell, 7-2. The Big Green forced three matches into five games.
Jack Bell defeated Trinity's Patrick O'Sullivan in five. Playing at the number five position, The Sophomore dropped the first game, 12-10, before winning win the next two, 11-7 and 11-8, O'Sullivan fought back to win the fourth, but Bell was determined and took the fifth, 11-8
Sam Supattapone also won his match due to his opponent being disqualified.
James Bell and
Tucker Martino each took their opponents to five games. After dropping the first two games, Bell rallied and took the next two before falling. Martino won the first and third games.
Dartmouth stays on the road for a meeting with No. 20 Williams on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 2 p.m.
