Big Green Defeat Bears on Day Two of Women’s Championships

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's squash team came away with a 7-2 victory on the second day of the women's championships in Hartford, Conn. With the win, the Big Green improve to 7-7, while Brown falls to 9-8.

Anne Blasberg, Brynn Bank, Ellie Gozigian and Emma Roberts all came away with sweeps. Blasberg won, 14-12, 11-9 and 11-9. Bank took her games, 11-7, 11-8 and 12-10, while Gozigian won, 11-8, 11-6 and 11-9. Roberts emerged victorious after winning, 11-7, 11-3 and 11-8.

Emma MacTaggart, Darden Gildea and Julia Potter were all put to the test, but grinded out five game wins.

Dartmouth wraps up the women's championships on Sunday morning when they meet with Cornell at 11 a.m. in Hartford.
