HANOVER, N.H. – No. 6 Dartmouth celebrated its senior class of Carson Spahr, Matt Giegerich, Zach Quayle and Sam Epley with a 9-0 sweep of Brown Friday night in Hanover. Dartmouth improves to 8-5 and 3-3 in the Ivy League with one match left, while Brown falls to 4-9.

Spahr, Brandon De Otaduy and Tucker Martino all defeated their opponents in three games. In the No. 1 spot, Spahr won by scores of, 11-7, 11-8 and 11-5. De Otaduy won his matchup, 11-7, 11-1 and 11-5, while Martino won, 11-7, 11-9 and 11-6.

Giegerich, Epley, James Bell and Jack Bell took their matches in four games. Giegerich won each of his first two, 11-7, and fell in the third game, 11-8, before taking the fourth, 11-6. Epley split his first two games and took the final two, 11-8 and 11-4. James Bell dropped his first game, 11-7, but rebounded to take the final three, 11-8, 11-4 and 12-10. Jack Bell also lost his first game but won the final three, 11-5, 11-4 and 11-2.

It took Toby Harding and Max Finkelstein five games to secure wins. Harding fell behind 2-1, but took the final two games, 11-1 and 12-10. Finkelstein did the same and won the last two, 11-4 and 11-8.

Dartmouth wraps up its regular season on Sunday with a road match at Yale scheduled for 12 p.m.
