NEWPORT, R.I. – The field for the Sperry Women's Championship in Newport, R.I. has been narrowed down to the final 18 teams and Dartmouth is in seventh with 175 points after the first day of the final, one ahead of Boston University.
Harvard leads the way with 125 points followed by George Washington (138), Brown (143), Boston College (149), Yale (167) and the College of Charleston (173).

Paige Clarke worked very well together during the entire slate of racing. The duo picked up 54 points and placed in the top five in five different races which included two first place marks and three second place finishes.

Aisling Sullivan finished the day with 116 points. In 10 races, the group had two top-five finishes and a sixth-place mark. Their best result was second place in the second race of the day.
The Sperry Women's Championship concludes on Friday in Newport, R.I., Dartmouth will look to move up and finish strong in a tight field.
