NEWPORT, R.I. – The Dartmouth coed sailing team concluded a historical 2018-19 season with a ninth-place finish at the Gill Coed National Championship. It was the first time since 2006 that all three teams advanced to nationals.

Competing for the Big Green were senior
Christopher Williford and
Rebecca McElvain, junior
Paige Clarke and sophomores
Eloise Burn and
Timothy Greenhouse.

Dartmouth's Division A boat of skipper Williford and crews Burn and McElvain recorded 57 points in six races. The group had two top-five finishes with its best being third. Â

The Big Green's Division B boat of skipper Greenhouse with Clarke as the crew raced to 68 points. The duo placed in the top five in one race.

All-in-all, the Big Green had a solid performance at nationals. The women's team finished sixth, while the team race squad placed fourth and the coed came in ninth.
