HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's lacrosse's
Peter Rizzotti was selected to College Crosse's 2019 All-Freshmen Second Team.
Daniel Hincks also made his way onto the list, earning honorable mention distinction.
The purpose of the All-Freshmen teams are to honor the best first-year players in college lacrosse. There are three teams and honorable mentions, and each team includes three attackmen, three offensive midfielders, three defensemen, one faceoff specialist, one long stick defensive midfielder, one short stick defensive midfielder and one goalkeeper.
An All-Ivy Honorable Mention selection and defensive specialist, Rizzotti appeared in all 13 games during his rookie season, making 11 starts. He concluded his first season in Hanover first on the team in caused turnovers (27) and second in ground balls (35). He also contributed two goals scored against Wagner and Brown.
Hincks appeared between the pipes in 11 games, making 10 starts. In 585 minutes, he made 140 saves while allowing 122 goals and had a .534 save percentage and 12.51 goals against average. He was first on the team with 39 ground balls and had a career-high 17 saves in games against Harvard and Cornell.
