CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Dartmouth sailing competed in the Hatch Brown Trophy and the Nicholas Barnett trophy in the second week of the fall season. The Big Green finished sixth of 19 boats in the Hatch Brown and ninth of 16 boats in the Barnett.

Maddie Sharp competed in the Hatch Brown Trophy and finished sixth with 368 points. The best finish for the A boat of Giblin and Clarke was fourth place in the 10th race of 15. The B boat of Clapp and Sullivan had a strong day with seven top-five finishes including one win.

Annika Rogers and
Christopher Cheng went to Maine for the Barnett Trophy and finished ninth with 256 points. The A boat of Simmons and Rogers had a strong day with eight top-five finishes and four victories for 87 points, which was third best among A boats. The B boat of Tellini and Cheng had their best mark of fourth place in the 12th of 16th race.
Next weekend (Sept. 21-22) Dartmouth is scheduled to host the Mrs. Hurst Bowl. The Big Green will also travel to the Hoyt Trophy at Brown, the Coed Showcase Qualifier One at Connecticut College, the Norm Reid Trophy at Boston College and the North U Match Race Clinic in Newport, R.I.
