THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth volleyball team will open the 2019 season this weekend at the UNC Asheville Invitational, taking on North Carolina A&T State, Eastern Kentucky and the host over the course of two days.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
North Carolina A&T
The Aggies kicked off their campaign last weekend at Winthrop's Cristi Curtis Volleyball Invitational, falling to the host, Morehead State and Davidson by scores of 3-0. North Carolina A&T has three more invites to go before starting dual matches at the end of the month. This is the first time in program history that the Green and the Aggies will be meeting.

Eastern Kentucky
The Colonels went 1-2 during their opening weekend, defeating Gardner Webb while falling to Charlotte and Kent State at the Charlotte Invitational. Dartmouth and Eastern Kentucky last played each other on Sept. 10, 2005, a match the Colonels won, 3-0.

UNC Asheville
The Bulldogs had a 1-2 start to their season, defeating Southern, 3-0, in the first match of the Georgia Tech Tournament before being defeated by Long Beach State and the host. This is the first meeting between Dartmouth and UNC Asheville.

MEET THE BIG GREEN
The 19-player roster is made up of 14 returnees (four seniors, four juniors, six sophomores) and five freshmen. The team lost solid contributors Zoe Leonard and Samantha Bozoian to graduation.

COACHING STAFF
Doron is returning for his fourth season at the helm of the program. He is assisted by Olivia Lathrop, who is in her second season with the program, and Brandon Chan, who comes to Hanover after being a volunteer assistant beach volleyball coach at the University of Arizona.

NEXT UP FOR DARTMOUTH
The Big Green will host their annual home tournament next weekend, Sept. 13-14. Throughout the two-day, four-team, six-match invite, Dartmouth will face Hofstra, Hartford and Fordham. Live Stats and video on ESPN+ will be available for all of the matches.
