HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's indoor track & field team was narrowly edged out by Yale for the top spot Saturday at Leverone Field House.

In the annual DYC meet against Yale and Columbia, the Bulldogs claimed the win with 68 points to the Big Green's 65. The Lions finished third with 44.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Tim Zepf was the top runner in the 800m, crossing in 1:51.06.
- Max Frye won a hotly contested 500m race in 1:05.38.
- The 3000m saw Dartmouth earn eight points thanks to a first-place finish from Quin Cooney (8:34.23) with Jason Wang (8:43.89) and Brendan Balthis (8:49.57) taking third and fourth, respectively.
- The long jump went one-two in favor of the Big Green with Nils Wildberg (7.02m) and Ahria Simons (6.94m) earning the two top spots.
- Ethan Ruh (15.83m) was the winner of the shot put by a wide margin as the second-place thrower was nearly a meter back of the Dartmouth senior.
- There was also a wealth of second-place finishes for the home team coming from: Andrew Palermo (weight throw), Ryan Cashman (triple jump), Jake Winslow (mile), MJ Farber (400m), Myles Epstein (200m) and the 4x400m relay team.
