HANOVER, N.H. – After day one of the Tate Ramsden Invitational, the Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team is sitting in first place with 60 points, comfortably ahead of UMass with 14.
The Big Green took the top two spots in the 500 free:
Christina Cianciolo was first (5:05.48) and
Mia Leko followed soon after (5:06.63).
Alie Hunter won the 200 IM (2:08.92), while
Ashley Post (2:11.01),
Summer Martin (2:11.28),
Siera Daly (2:12.72) and
Bridget Parker (2:12.
83) took second through fifth.
In the 50 free,
Sophie Smith was first for the second meet in a row (24.12).
Eleanor Zwart and
Katherine Cane tied for second place with times of 24.37.
To end the first session of the two-day meet, Dartmouth was first and second in the 200 free relay with times of 1:37.06 and 1:37.94.
The Green will return to the pool at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
