PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth men's lacrosse team has been picked to finish seventh in the 2020 Ivy League preseason poll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
NCAA runner-up Yale was picked to finish first with 11-of-14 first-place votes, while defending Ivy League champion Penn was second with two votes.
Cornell received the other first-place vote and was followed by Princeton, Brown, Harvard and Dartmouth.
The Big Green went 2-11 in 2019, picking up wins over Wagner (11-4) and Binghamton (11-7). They kept it close in a number of games, narrowly falling to Bryant (5-6) and Hartford (11-12).
The start of the 2020 season is just around the corner. Dartmouth will play its season opener at Merrimack on Saturday, Feb. 15.
