PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Dartmouth women's swimming and diving opened the 2020 Ivy League Championship on Wednesday with two relays.

After the first day, the Big Green are in fifth place with 98 points, sitting just ahead of both Brown and Penn with 96. Harvard is first with 128 points.

Dartmouth started off by taking seventh place in the 200 medley relay (1:42.04), out-touching Cornell by almost a second. Made up of
Connie Zhang,
Maggie Deppe-Walker,
Kaia Reznicek and
Sophie Smith, the Green earned 46 points.

In the 800 free relay, Dartmouth had a great showing and placed fourth (7:14.02), breaking the school record from last season by over two seconds. Composed of
Ashley Post,
Summer Martin,
Christina Cianciolo and Mika Leko, the Big Green left a second and a half between them and Columbia in fifth.

Prelims on Thursday will start at 11 a.m. with the 500 free.
