Hopkins Guerra and Bragg Named to NEISA Watch List

HANOVER, N.H. – Sophomore Carlota Hopkins Guerra and freshman Boyd Bragg of the Dartmouth sailing team have been named to the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Watch List for the Women's and Coed Sailor of the Year Award.

Hopkins-Guerra placed in the top three in each of her races during the fall season, while Bragg helped his team place in the top-3 in four races in 2019.

Honorees are selected by the coaches of the NEISA Awards Committee. The committee considers the competitive record of each candidate. In determining the quantity and quality of a record, the committee has particular regard for the following factors: how the record compares to those of fellow competitors, the quality of competition in which the record was achieved, results achieved competing with different skippers and crews, whether the record spans the Fall and/or Spring seasons, and how the record compares to those of All-NEISA sailors selected in previous years.

The Big Green start its season on Saturday at the Sharpe Team Race Trophy in Providence, R.I.
