Big Green sit in 8th after one day of competition.

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth men's track & field team is eighth after one day of competition at the 2020 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championship.

The Big Green have one point through four scored events, while first-place Harvard has 25 inside Barton Hall.
 HIGHLIGHTS
The lone point of the day was earned buy Corbin Mayes in the pole vault as the junior cleared 4.80m to take sixth.
Defending champion Tim Zepf was the top qualifier in the 800m prelims in 1:52.46. The junior harrier led at each of the three in-race splits.
Joining him in the final is Will Baginski who was fourth in the prelims thanks to a 1:54.03.
Junior Donovan Spearman was second in the 60m preliminaries, running a 6.80, one-hundredth of a second back of the first-place runner.
In the 60m, Myles Epstein will also move on to the final thanks to a ninth-place finish in 6.86 as well as in the 200m with a 22.30 to take seventh.
Max Frye also moves on, qualifying seventh in the 500m with a 1:05.19.
The 1000m saw Thomas Lingard claim one of the nine qualifying spots with a fourth-place finish in 2:30.05.
Henry Raymond (6th, 4:17.32), Will Eaton (9th, 4:17.78) and Jake Winslow (10th, 4:18.00) all punched their tickets to Sunday's final of the mile.
