HANOVER, N.H. – Mitchell Myers was named to College Crosse's All-Freshmen Honorable Mention Team for the 2020 season.
Started at the conclusion of the 2017 season, the purpose of the all-freshmen teams is to honor the best first-year players in college lacrosse.
Each of the three teams and the honorable mention team include: three attackmen, three offensive midfielders, three defensemen, one faceoff specialist, one long stick defensive midfielder, one short stick defensive midfielder and one goaltender.
A faceoff specialist from Huntington Beach, California, Myers appeared in all four games during his shortened rookie season. He went 45-for-87 (.517) at the X and had one point, a goal scored in the win over Bryant (2/22). Myers was also first on the team with 24 ground balls and had two caused turnovers.
Ivy League schools that also had players tabbed to the honorable mention team were Brown, Cornell and Princeton.
