Ben Martin and
James Sullivan were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans after their senior seasons were shortened by COVID-19.
They are the first Big Green players to receive the award since Jack Korzelius '18 in 2018.
In 1989, the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities.
A two-year captain from Arlington, Virginia, Martin played in and started all four games, helping Dartmouth jump out to a 3-1 start for the first time since 2006. He was tied for second on the team in goals (8) and fourth in points (11). Martin had a season-high four points (3-1-4) in the win over Bryant (2/22).
Sullivan, a squad leader hailing from Moorpark, California, played in all four games, making three starts. He did not register any points, but he did grab two ground balls and had a pair of caused turnovers.
