HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's soccer team fell to Columbia, 3-2, in Ivy League action on Saturday afternoon at Burnham Field.

The Big Green (5-6-1) held a 18-6 shot advantage, edging the Lions 9-4 in shots on target.

Dartmouth got things going early as freshman Hannah Curtin scored her team-high sixth goal of the season, with junior Allie Winstanley and freshman Dasa Hase providing the assists.

Columbia tied the game at 1-1 shortly before halftime through an unassisted goal from Kendall McBride. The Lions took the lead in the 63^rd minute and added to their lead just three minutes later in the 66^th.

Winstanley cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 70^th minute. Fifth-year senior Erin Kawakami headed the ball down to Winstanley, who controlled it at the top of the box and fired it with her left foot to the bottom right corner.

The Big Green piled the pressure on for the final 20 minutes but were unable to find the equalizer.

Dartmouth heads to Harvard next Saturday for their final road contest of the season.
