"I've followed his career closely as one of the top scullers in the US for the past eight years, and to bring his experience, expertise and passion for the sport to our coaching staff is a great opportunity for our program. I have no doubt John will be an excellent mentor and role model for our student-athletes."

Â
A 2010 graduate of Trinity College, Graves was a four-year starter on the men's soccer team, earning All-New England, All-NESCAC and Rookie of the Year honors as well as serving as team captain. The history major was a three-year member of the ECAC Varsity 8+ National Champion boat in 2008 and was a Henley Temple Cup Finalist the same year.
