THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth field hockey team opens the 2021 season with a trio of games this weekend, opening Friday afternoon at UC Davis, followed by a Sunday morning matchup at California before wrapping up the holiday weekend with a morning tilt at Stanford on Monday.

The Big Green posted a 4-13 record in the 2019 season.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- The Big Green were ranked eighth in the Ivy League preseason poll.
- Dartmouth returns 11 players from the 2019 roster, including Holley Cromwell, Isabella Santucci and Cecelia Monnin. Cromwell finished third on the team in goals (4) and points (9), while Santucci started all 17 games in goal. Monnin compiled seven defensive saves for the Big Green.

- This will be the first meeting between the Big Green and the Cardinal in 24 years.

- Dartmouth opens their home schedule next weekend, facing Central Michigan on Friday (3 p.m.) and squaring off with Bryant on Sunday (1 p.m.).
- The home stand continues into the following weekend as the Big Green take on Vermont and Merrimack.
