Dartmouth Suffers First Loss of the Season

BERKELEY, Calif. – The Dartmouth field hockey team suffered their first loss of the season, falling to California, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Underhill Field.

Anne Van Wolf scored the lone goal of the game, scoring the winner with just over three minutes remaining in the contest.

Senior goalkeeper Isabella Santucci and junior goalkeeper Hatley Post combined for 10 saves in net for the Big Green.

Dartmouth looks to rebound on Monday and wrap up their California trip with a late-morning matchup at Stanford.
