COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named the Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team.

Selections were made based on fall grade point averages and includes 18,029 students on 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities.

The men's team was tied for 33rd on the list of 100 Division I programs with a GPA of 3.39, sharing a spot with Purdue. The women's squad was tied for 59th out of 171 with a 3.54, sharing with UNH, Seton Hall and UMBC.

Sixteen conferences placed 100 percent of their men's and women's teams on the list, the Ivy League being one of them.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.

The award, which is presented twice throughout the year, is awarded to teams nationwide that have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
