- Dartmouth is hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Mon. Oct. 17, Wed. Nov. 2, and Thur. Nov. 18 at which students, faculty, and staff can get a bivalent booster vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna). Clinics will be held from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with breaks from 12 to 1 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m.) in Alumni Hall at the top of the Hopkins Center for the Arts. - Alexi Pappas '12 (Track&Field/XC), author, filmmaker and Olympian, is speaking on Friday, October 29th at 4:30pm. If you would like to attend this special event, register here. - Looking for a fun and fulfilling service opportunity in the Upper Valley? Interested in inspiring young students to develop healthy lifestyle habits? Please consider joining Canaan Club, started in 2016 by a group of Dartmouth '17 student-athletes! This program connects Dartmouth student-athletes with elementary school students in Canaan, NH (~30 minute drive).
- DESCRIPTION: volunteer to join students at Canaan Elementary School in their weekly, 40-minute PE class. Meet students in the PE class and help them as they learn the fundamentals of sports like basketball, volleyball, softball, and more!
- WHEN: Tuesday mornings 7:45-9:45am. Time commitment is minimal - we only ask that you join us a few Tuesday mornings (a total of 3 to 4 times per term), and we return with plenty of time before 10As!
- WHERE: Meet at the front of the Hop and drive to Canaan, NH, which is adjacent to Hanover.
- WHY WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US: This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new outreach program. As student-athletes, we have the ability to inspire young students to live healthy, active lifestyles and to share the lessons we have learned through our own experiences!! In the past, the students truly enjoyed the presence of Dartmouth athletes.

- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (#DVAM), and WISE is here for you! Dating violence, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and abusive relationships are all terms used that refer to a romantic relationship where one person uses different strategies to take power and control away from their partner. Click HERE to learn more about what tactics of control might look like. Understanding the dynamics of dating and domestic violence provides the opportunity to prevent it.

You'll learn and practice skills like meeting management, group management, empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution. We are looking for committed facilitators who want to engage in D-LAB by forming positive relationships with each other and participants. Help us shape the 26s' Dartmouth experience! Learn more and apply here by October 24th. Requirements for this program also include attending a Facilitator Training prior to the program start. Facilitators will receive a stipend of $300 for the level of their responsibility and for fulfilling all their commitments to D-LAB.

- New Winterim Internship Opportunity through the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact! The ImpACT Winterim Leadership Intensive is a 3-week program during the November/December Dartmouth break that allows students to make an impact on a social challenge within their home or the Upper Valley community while learning with peers about systems of social change.
