The Big Green put pressure on Colby-Sawyer immediately from the opening whistle. Dartmouth scored the opening goal in the fifth minute. Winstanley played a short corner to Ladner. Ladner, with space in front of her, went towards goal before crossing the ball into the six-yard box. The ball fell to Granholm, who controlled it and had the opening to place the ball into the bottom right corner for her first goal of the season.
The Chargers fended off the Dartmouth attack for the remainder of the half as The Big Green had six more shots on goal over the final 40 minutes but could not find the back of the net.
It took Dartmouth just four minutes into the second half to add to their lead. The Big Green acted quickly off a goal kick, picking up possession in the midfield. Burke slipped in a through ball that sent Winstanley in on goal and Winstanley struck a low-driven shot to the back post to hit the double-digit mark for goals this season.
Curry opened her collegiate account in the 57
th minute. Moncho launched a long ball from just behind midfield down the left wing towards Curry. Curry took a touch to bring the ball down towards the endline and hit a calm left-footed shot from a tough angle that snuck past LeBreton.
The Big Green scored off another short corner eight minutes, again from the combination of Ladner and Granholm. Taking the corner from the left side, Moncho played it short to Ladner, who whipped in the in-swinging cross to Granholm for the easy tap in at the back post.
Dartmouth scored a 75
th minute goal off a free kick from 35 yards out. Williams hit a perfectly struck ball towards the penalty spot and Marin ran onto it to head it to the bottom left corner for her first career goal.
Brown extended the lead just 40 seconds later. With her back towards goal, Brown received the ball from Lundregan before turning around the defender to strike the ball with her left foot over the extended hand of LeBreton to make it 6-0 in favor of Dartmouth.
The Big Green capped their scoring for the evening in the 84
th minute. Granholm's initial shot was saved but the rebound fell to Curry to smash home for her second goal of the night.
Dartmouth had a season-high 23 shots on goal and 11 corner kicks.
The Big Green hit the road for an Ivy League matchup on Saturday at Columbia. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the game will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet.
Notes: Winstanley hit the double-digit mark for the second time in her career after doing so as a freshman during the 2019 season... Seven goals in a single game are the most for the Big Green since a 7-0 win over Florida International on September 8, 2019.
