HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth men's squash team took on No. 5 Virginia in Hanover on Saturday. The Big Green received a five-set win from
Felix Feldman at position No. 8, but fell to the Cavaliers, 8-1.
Feldman won his second match of the season on Saturday, taking down Tyler Mackesy in a hard-fought battle. After dropping the first game, 11-9, Feldman battled back with wins in games two and three. Mackesy took an 11-4 win in the fourth stanza, but an 11-7 win in the fifth sealed Dartmouth's lone win of the afternoon.
At position No. 7,
Auggie Bhavsar took Francis Hajek to five games, but ultimately fell to Virginia's representative. Bhavsar bounced back after a tough first game with two wins but dropped the fourth and fifth.
Mac Aube won the first game of his match against Omar El Torkey but dropped three straight at position No. 2.
Quintin Campbell and
Lucan White each secured one game victory in four-set losses.
The Big Green travel to Medford, Massachusetts for a matchup with Tufts tomorrow at 1 p.m.
