Doubleheader Against Manhattan Added to Open Weekend

The Big Green baseball team will host the Jaspers for a twinbill on May 7
HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth baseball head coach Bob Whalen announced the addition of a home doubleheader against Manhattan to the 2022 Big Green schedule on May 7. First pitch for the first game will be at 11:30 a.m. while the second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the final out of the opener.
A rematch between these two schools has been a long time coming with the only previous encounter on the diamond coming at Manhattan, ending in an 11-11 tie on May 10, 1900. That's right, this is the first game in the series in 122 years.
Dartmouth will open the 2022 season with a three-game series at Louisville, a program that advanced to the College World Series four times during the 2010 decade.
