Women’s Track and Field Ready to Take on Heps This Weekend

Ivy League Heptagonal Championships
Location: New York, N.Y. – The Armory
Date: Sat.-Sun. February 26-27
Time: Saturday – 9:30 a.m. | Sunday – 10:50 a.m.

The Dartmouth women's track and field team heads down to New York to compete at the 2021-22 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, hosted by Columbia at The Armory.
The Big Green are competing at the Ivy League Championships for the first time since the 2020 Championships, where they finished in eighth.
Dartmouth has had a terrific season so far, with a combined 60 PR's between the women's and men's teams.
There have been eight athletes that have entered the top 10 in program history in their respective events this year, including Lily Lockhart, who has broken the program record in weight throw on five occasions, with her top mark coming in at 19.80m.
45 of the 66 competitors (both women's and men's) will be competing at Heps for the first time. Youth will be a big factor for the Big Green, as there are 12 freshmen that will be competing while there will only be six seniors.
A live stream will be available for both days through ESPN+. A live results link will be posted once available and can be found on the team's schedule page HERE. The entries for the Championships will be announced Friday evening and can be found on the Ivy League website.
