The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the BU Scarlet & White Invitational and at the second day of the Dr. Sander Invitational Columbia Challenge on Friday.
"It was a fun weekend for Dartmouth Track & Field as we represented the Big Green in three different locations. Each facility catered to the strengths of each event group and the level of competition needed during this crucial point of the season," said Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field
Porscha Dobson.
"We are three weeks out from championship season and, credit to our fantastic coaches, the improvement in performances is right on schedule. Last week, between our men's and women's teams, we combined for a total of 43 new personal bests, five top 10 all-time marks and one school record," Dobson continued. "This weekend, with a smaller number of competitors, we produced 17 personal bests and one top 10 all-time mark. We're having a lot of fun. There's positive momentum and a great deal of excitement about where this program is going."
The team will be back in action next weekend at BU Valentine Invitational and the Yale Invite.
