HANOVER, N.H. – Tim Cushman, a junior on the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team, has been named to the Academic All-Ivy Team for his accomplishments both in and out of the pool.
At the Ivy League Championship last week, he competed in the 50 free, 100 back, 100 free, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay.
The Big Green set a new standard in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:58.31, breaking the record from 2015 by three tenths of a second.
The computer science major with a 3.45 GPA that hails from Bronxville, New York, plays the piano and saxophone, both in and out of the classroom. He also worked as a course learning fellow in the computer science department and recently secured an internship at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer.
