PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Dartmouth men's and women's diving team wrapped up competition at the NCAA Diving Zones hosted by Rutgers University.
Everett Tai placed 12
th in the platform finals with a score of 522.30. Also on platform,
Maggie Lambdin became the first Dartmouth women to compete on a platform dive at the NCAA Zones. In prelims, she placed 19
th with a score of 199.30. She missed finals by just one point. The impressive performances from Tai and Lambdin came after not performing a platform dive since the team's training trip in December.
On the one-meter prelims,
Alyssa Palacios placed 48
th with a score of 214.60 while Klara Johnsson Stjernstroem came in 59
th after scoring a 206.25. Tai recorded a 265.30 to place 28
th.
In prelims on three-meter, Lambdin scored a 267.8 for 24
th place and Johnsson Stjernstroem placed 44
th with a score of 237.85. Tai ranked 23
rd after a score of 289.65.
McCoy Lyman, who finished runner up at the Ivy League Championships and qualified for Diving Zones, missed the competition due to illness.
