Jacob Turner finished fifth in the 400 IM as the Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team finished competition on the third day of the Ivy League Championships from Brown University on Friday evening.

"Our men are really getting after each session and competing. We are one point away today, with a whole day of competition remaining, to the point total we scored as a team last year at Ivies. That's real progress and it's their fire moving us forward," said Head Coach
Milana Socha.

In prelims,
Dean Gustavson went a lifetime best with a time of 52.30 in the 100 fly. In the same event,
Andy Peterson scored 24th in the C-Final after swimming a 50.77.
Aiden Sandvig scored 19th with a lifetime best time of 47.99 and is now sixth on our All-Time Top 10 list.
Yan Dvoretskiy won the C-Final heat after going a 47.48 to finish 17
th.
William McClelland finished 15th in the B-Final and his time from prelims of 47.83 was a lifetime best and ranks him fourth fastest in team history.

In the C-Final of the 400 IM,
Reed Wallace finished 22
nd with a time of 4:00.20 and
Alexander Ye finished 19
th with a time of 3:54.17.
Jacob Turner made his first Ivy A-final finishing fifth with a lifetime best time of 3:46.27. The time is also an NCAA But and second fast in program history.

In the C-Final of the 200 free, Dvoretskiy placed 19th and
Ian Stewart 24
th after swimming 1:37.60 and 1:43.27 respectfully. In the B-Final of the same event,
Isaac Weigel was 15
th after going 1:37.01.

Eddy Chen went a lifetime best time of 54.74 in the 100 breast to tie for 21st which is also the third fastest time in team history.

In the 100 back,
Jagger Stachtiaris was 24th after going a 49.04 and in prelims went a lifetime best of 48.55 which ranks him fifth on our All-Time Top 10 list while
Logan Pack was 18th in the C-Final with a time of 48.14 and
Colton Rasmussen finished 16th in the B-Final with a time of 48.14.

Ronan Fahey went a lifetime best of 9:27.63 in the 1000 free and finished 23rd,
Tommy Erwin went a college best of 9:13.23 to finish 15th and his time ranks fifth all time.

At the end of prelims McClelland time trialed the 50 free and went a lifetime best of 19.90 to become the second ever Dartmouth swimmer to break 20 seconds in the event.

The 400 medley relay of Rasmussen, Chen, Dvoretskiy and Pack saw lifetime best splits from Chen and Dvoretskiy and placed seventh with our programs third fastest time ever, 3:13.69.
