PROVIDENCE, R.I. – More records were shattered during the Ivy League Champions as the Dartmouth men's swim and dive team wrapped up Day 2 of competition from Brown University.
"Fantastic day for the Big Green - the vast majority of swims were lifetime bests, our divers absolutely sent it, an NCAA B-cut, and two new team records. We are in a significantly better place than last year after this session, and I can't wait to see this team continue this build tomorrow!" said Head Coach
Milana Socha.
Xavier Orlic and
Ronan Fahey both went lifetime bests in the prelim 500 free, 4:34.21 and 4:37.68 respectfully.
Also in prelims,
Eddy Chen went a lifetime best in the 200 IM with a 1:56.29.
Reed Wallace went a college best in the same event after swimming a 1:52.53.
Jacob Turner placed 11th in the B-Final with a lifetime best time and second fastest time in team history and an NCAA B-cut with a time of 1:45.59.
Every single swimmer in the 50 free prelims swam a lifetime best time including
Logan Pack who tied for 12th in the B-final with a lifetime best and team record time of 19.87. He was also the first Dartmouth swimmer to ever break 20 seconds in the event.
The 200 free relay of

Colton Rasmussen and
Yan Dvoretskiy set a new team record for a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:18.71. Every single swimmer on the relay went a lifetime best time and McClelland's leadoff is now the program's second All-Time swim.
