MITCHELVILLE, Md. — The Dartmouth women's golf team was hosted by Howard for a one-round, match play event today, only to have the proceedings cut short by rain. The event will not be completed, but
Alex Kirk, the Carolyn A. Pelzel '54a Head Coach of Women's Golf, was happy how his team performed.
"We are preparing for the Ivy League Championship next week, and today was a good chance to compete and work on some things on the course," Kirk said. "Overall we played well, and we enjoyed the hospitality extended by [head coach] Sam Puryear and his team throughout the day."
The Ivy League Championship will take place at The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, New Jersey, starting on Friday, April 22. The tournament will consist of three rounds with one round played each day through Sunday.
