Rachel Freer of Dartmouth equestrian. Freer, a native of Rolling Hills Estates, California, earned a spot on the All-ECAC Fence Team and garnered NCEA All-Academic First Team honors in 2022.

DartmouthSports.com: What would be your best advice to your 15-year-old self?
Rachel Freer: My best advice would be to find more time to rest. You don't need to feel productive all the time.

DS: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
RF: I would go to Thailand. It's such a cool culture and has an adventurous spirit with affordable accommodations.

DS: What's the app you use most on your phone?
RF: I use Google Calendar and Spotify a lot.

DS: What are your post-Dartmouth plans?
RF: I'm planning to do conservation-centered field work.

DS: What show do you binge watch?
RF: I've been watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

DS: Other than your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life?
RF: My twin sister has had a huge influence on my life.

DS: What are your plans for your upcoming off-term?
RF: I'll be participating in the Dartmouth ENVS Domestic Study Program to learn about fishery and forestry industries.

DS: What is your favorite place on campus?
RF: My favorite place would have to be the BVAC photo lab or the river.
