Â
The Big Green opened the scoring early as they put it in the back of the net at the 7:40 mark. On the left wing, Lundregan cut back towards the middle and played a right-footed cross to the back post. The ball was just out of reach for the River Hawks' defender and to the feet of Winstanley. Â
Dartmouth added to the lead in the 19
th minute. Like the first goal, it started off a cross from Lundregan. This time, it was a flick from Seales near the top of the box that bounced into space for Winstanley to hit on the volley into the back of the net to give the Big Green a 2-0 lead.
Â
The River Hawks cut into the deficit just a few minutes later. Edson took a corner kick from the left side and played the ball to the six-yard box which was met by the head of Edholm and redirected into the back of the net.
Â
UMass Lowell evened the scored just shy of halftime in the 44
th minute. The River Hawks drew a foul in the Big Green's defensive third down near the endline between the corner and the box. The ensuing free kick, taken by Khammar, was hit towards the six-yard box and headed in by Edholm for her second goal of the match.
Â
Seales had an opportunity to break the deadlock in the 67
th minute. A cross into the box fell for Seales, but her attempt went just wide left of the post.
Â

st minute. A cross from the left wing by Chloe Layne towards the back post was headed in by Edson.
Â
