- As more students begin coming to campus for the fall term and with fall sports officially underway, I wanted to send a quick reminder about face mask usage on campus. Using a face mask continues to be one of best mitigation strategies against COVID-19 and other communicable upper respiratory infections.
- When to wear a mask: Regardless of vaccination status, if you are two years of age or older, you are required to wear a face mask:
- If you are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19;
- For at least 10 days after you first test positive for COVID-19, even if you end isolation earlier;
- For at least 10 days after you were last in close contact with someone who has COVID-19;
- When you are in a health care setting, including Athletic Training Rooms and Varsity Clinic appointments in Davis Varsity House;
- Where required through a contract with an external organization (e.g., the Hopkins Center agreement with the Broadway League, and the Athletics department with the NCAA).
- It remains a best practice to keep a face mask with you at all times. There will be masks available for those accessing athletic training facilities or other sports medicine spaces as needed. The full campus masking policy can be found here.
- If you are feeling sick or have been identified as a close contact, please be sure to perform an antigen test prior to accessing facilities consistent with campus testing guidance.
- If you need testing or masking supplies please visit one of the many pick-up locations on campus.
- Individual sports nutrition appointments can be booked by calling the scheduling office at Health Services (Dick's House) – 603-646-9401. Or via web booking on the health portal.
- Intensity of preparation – 'training to win' – conditions the brain and body to perform under pressure. It lets peak performance become automatic. It develops the mindset to win.
- Schedule a Wellness Check-In and/or check out the Wellness Resources: Yoga, Mindfulness, Relaxation & Stress Reduction
