- CPD is hosting Resume Reviews this Friday, July 15th from 3:00 – 5:00PM. With many resume deadlines fast approaching, our career coaches invite you to drop by the CPD Office for a 15 minute assessment to help you ensure your resume is "submission ready." We will have multiple career coaches ready to help and students will be seen on a "first come-first served" basis. We look forward to seeing you in person or via Zoom. - Resource for Grad School: The Consortium is a fellowship that students should investigate if they meet the admissions criteria - please note that this was originally created for all African American men and women but has now expanded to U.S. Citizens that are looking to contribute to the Consortium's mission. Dartmouth College joined The Consortium in 1999 (see history and full list of schools here).
SPORT & COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY
- Summer '22 DBT Group: DBT skills aim to increase our sense of self-agency and mastery in our relationship with ourselves and with others. Attend this group if you struggle to manage intense emotions, have difficulty with impulsive behaviors or feel like you're struggling in your interpersonal relationships. The topics covered are Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. This group will be held on Fridays from 11:30am to 1:00pm. - Scheduling a first appointment? Book a counseling or counseling & sport psychology appointment through the student health portal.
- Counseling services are available for all enrolled students through the Dartmouth Counseling Center by calling (603) 646-9442 to set up an appointment. If you are in crisis or concerned about an enrolled student, you can reach the on-call counselor 24/7 by calling (603) 646-9442 and following the prompts to access the on-call team. SPORTS MEDICINE
- The Floren Athletic Training Room is used for summer term treatments from 9 AM – 4 PM. Appointments can be web-booked online through the health portal.
SPORTS NUTRITION
- The protein you eat is used to help build and repair muscle tissue, provide satiety, stabilize your blood sugar and assist your immune system. Protein is not an optimal energy source and should be balanced out with carbohydrates and fats at your meals.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
- The Floren Varsity weight room open hours will be weekdays 9 AM - 2 PM for non-scheduled activity.
YOGA & MINDFULNESS
- Outdoor Summer Yoga – Gentle Hatha Yoga – Tuesdays at 5:30 at the BEMA. RSVP HERE
- Schedule a Wellness Check-In, complete the Wellness on Campus survey, or borrow a Sun Lamp to boost sleep and fight depression
