HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth sailing program is set to open its 2022-23 season this weekend with its first four regattas of the year.
The Big Green set sail this weekend with four events, including the Harry Anderson Trophy regatta hosted by Yale. Dartmouth will also compete at MIT for the Toni Deutsch Women's Trophy and will partake in the Mt. Hope Invite, hosted by Roger Williams and the Bears Invite, hosted by Brown.

Caleb Cogan will wear the Green for the first time during the 2022-23 season.
Dartmouth will host the 25th Mrs. Hurst Trophy event between September 24 and 25. The women's division regatta take place on Mascoma Lake in Enfield, New Hampshire. Last year, the Big Green finished third in a field of 18 teams.
The Big Green are also set to host the 31st Captain Hurst Bowl regatta October 15-16. Dartmouth finished fifth in a field of 15 teams at last year's iteration of the event.
Dartmouth is set to compete in 26 separate regattas this fall, starting this weekend. The Big Green will compete in open competition 17 times and the program will compete in nine women-specific regattas, starting with the Toni Deutsch Women's Trophy competition this weekend.
The final weekend of competition prior to nationals will see the women travel to compete for the Urn Trophy, hosted by Brown from October 29-30. Dartmouth will also be in open competition at the Schell Trophy event, hosted by the Coast Guard.
The fall schedule comes to a close November 6-7 when the Big Green women compete in the Singlehanded Nationals. The sailing program returns to the waters in the spring with a full slate of regattas.
