HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth sailing team wrapped up its fall schedule this weekend by finishing sixth in a pair of events. The Big Green came in sixth out of 18 teams at the Schell Trophy, hosted by MIT, and sixth of 15 at the Victorian Urn Tropy, hosted by Harvard.
At the Schell Trophy, Dartmouth's "B" division team of
Maddie Hawkins,
Reese Bragg and
Elise Donovan came in fourth. The trio finished in the top five in nine of the 14 races, including each of the last five. The Big Green's "A" division team of Robert Bragg,
Yumi Yoshiyasu and
James Paul came in eighth, highlighted by finishing third in each of their last two races.
Meanwhile, at the Victorian Urn Trophy, the Big Green's "A" division team of
Taylor Eastman,
Gray Hemans,
Phoebe Lee and
Lilly Baker placed fourth. The Big Green finished in the top five in seven of the 14 races, which included a first-place finish and three seconds. Dartmouth's "B" division team of
Sarah Young,
Bella Casaretto,
Madeline Koelbel,
Alexandra Pierce,
Faye Benjamin came in seventh, highlighted by Casaretto and Benjamin coming in first in the last race of the weekend.

This weekend wrapped up the fall for the Big Green as a team, although
Sarah Young and Ben Sheppard will be competing in the Women's and Open Singlehanded National Championships the weekend of November 11-12 hosted by Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
