THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
Coming off a weekend that featured a big Ivy League win, the Dartmouth field hockey team hits the road to Philadelphia this weekend for a pair of games, at Penn and La Salle. Both games will start at 12 p.m. and be played at Penn's Ellen Vagelos Field. Saturday's game can be seen on ESPN+ while Sunday's contest will not be streamed.

WITH A WIN...
- (With a win Saturday) Dartmouth would be 5-4, which would mark its best record nine games into a season since the 2012 season (when the Big Green were also 5-4).
- (With a win Saturday or Sunday) Dartmouth would pick up its fifth win of the season, which would already be its most wins in any season since 2018 (when the Big Green finished 6-11).
- (With a win Saturday) The Big Green would snap a seven-game losing streak against Penn and beat the Quakers for the first time since Oct. 4, 2014 (a 5-3 win at home). Dartmouth would pull within 26-17-3 in the all-time series.
- (With a win Saturday) Dartmouth would win at Penn for the first time since Oct. 1, 2011 (a 4-2 win). It would snap a streak of five straight Quaker wins in Philly against the Big Green.
- (With a win Saturday) The Big Green would stand 2-2 (or better) in the Ivy League for the first time since the 2014 season (when they were also 2-2).

LAST TIME OUT...
- In the first quarter, senior
Lila Browne scored twice in 48 seconds to give the Dartmouth field hockey team a 2-1 lead, which would stand until midway through the third quarter, but visiting New Hampshire scored twice in the span of 4:01 to take a 3-2 lead, which proved to be the final.
- Facing a team that entered the week ranked No. 26 nationally in RPI, the Big Green controlled play for long stretches, but ultimately fell short of their third straight win.

ALL-TIME VS. PENN
Penn leads the all-time series with Dartmouth, 26-16-3, winning seven straight against the Big Green. The last four meetings have been one-goal games, with the Quakers winning two of them in overtime. Dartmouth's last win came in 2014 at home, with the last win at Penn coming in 2011.

SCOUTING PENN
Penn stands 5-5 on the season, 3-0 in Ivy League play following a 3-2 double overtime win at Princeton on Wednesday night. It marked the Quakers' first win over the Tigers since 2004, snapping a series-long 17-game losing streak streak. Penn's other Ivy League wins have come against Yale and Columbia. Allison Kuzyk leads the Quakers in goals (8) and points (16) while Courtney Kenah is second in points with 10 via two goals and six assists. Frederique Wollaert has played every minute in goal, tallying a 1.82 goals against average and 74.7 save percentage.

ALL-TIME VS. LA SALLE
Dartmouth leads the all-time series with La Salle, 2-0, winning Sept. 24, 1995 via a 6-0 final and Sept. 29, 1996 in a neutral site game, 6-2.

SCOUTING LA SALLE
La Salle enters a Friday matchup with Richmond at 7-4 and 2-1 in Atlantic 10 play, most recently beating Davidson and Queens by finals of 4-3 and 7-0, respectively. Two of the Explorers' four losses have come against nationally-ranked foes, No. 10 Rutgers and No. 18 UMass. Clara Larripa leads the team with seven goals and 16 points. Sol Espona isn't far behind with five goals and 10 points, respectively. A pair of goalkeepers have started games, with Ryan Curley posting a 0.76 goals against average and 71.4 save percentage in three games (all starts) with Emily Streib recording a 1.93 GAA and 68.0 save percentage in nine games (eight starts).

- Dartmouth's 21 goals through the first eight games are its most since the 2018 season when the Big Green had 22 at the same point in the season.
- The Big Green have two overtime wins in the same season for the first time since 2019. The last time they had three was in 2005 (two in overtime and one that ended in penalty strokes).
- Dartmouth is 12th nationally in penalty corners per game (7.62) and 14th in assists per contest (2.38) and 19th in points per game (7.62).
