OXFORD, Ohio — After an opening day that was highlighted by
Julianne Jones' victory in the 200 IM, the Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team turned in another impressive day with three podium finishers on Friday, the second day of the Miami Invitational. Jones added to impressive invitational resume with a program record in the 400 IM.

Following Friday's events, Dartmouth ranks third in the standings with 558.5 points. Miami (Ohio) still holds the top spot, now with 785 points. Indiana State (580.5) sits in second

Lane Murray, one of three Dartmouth swimmers with second-place finishes on Friday, was the runner-up in the 200 fly with a time of 54.55 seconds.
Jamieson Legh and
Lindsey Drumm also qualified for the A final of the event, which featured plenty of Big Green representation.

Jones continued her success-filled stretch with a second-place finish in the 400 IM with a program-best and NCAA B cut time of 4:16.66.
Carinn Bethea, one of several strong first-years, was second in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.40.

Bethea was also part of an 800 free relay team, alongside
Samantha Li,
McLane Gmelich and
Sydney Rawie that finished third.

The Miami Invitational concludes on Saturday and the action begins at 4 p.m.
