PRINCETON, N.J. — After an opening day of the Ivy League Championships that saw a historic effort in the 200 medley relay, four from the Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team competed in finals on Day 2 at Princeton's DeNunzio Pool.

Christina Cianciolo appeared in the 500 free C final and placed 21st, out-touching a swimmer from Brown with a time of 4:57.12. Representing the Big Green in the 200 IM was
Julianne Jones, who placed 20th in the C final at 2:02.44, besting athletes from Harvard, Columbia and Brown.
Lane Murray competed in the 50 free C final and placed 21st with a time of 23.42 seconds.

Carly Joerin swam a lifetime best in the 500 free prelims, while
Lindsey Drumm,
Zoe Moon and
Lane Murray did the same in the 50 free. Murray and Drumm posted personal-best splits in the 200 freestyle relay.

Dartmouth remains in eighth, now with 100.5 points at the conclusion of the second day of action at Princeton. The hosts hold the top spot with 573 points. Harvard sits in second with 422. Friday's slate, which will the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, 3-meter dive and 400 medley relay, begins at 11:00 a.m. with prelims.
