PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The opening day of the Ivy League Championships at Brown, which featured two relay events, saw Dartmouth pick up 90 points between the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay.

Tim Cushman registered a time of 1:29.38, the fourth-fastest in program history, and finished eighth in the 200 medley relay.

Yan Dvoretskiy and
Colton Rasmussen then achieved the second-fastest time in program history (6:29.54), out-touching Penn to place seventh. Dartmouth, along with two others, were originally disqualified and the decision was later overturned.Â

Princeton, who won the 800 freestyle relay, and Harvard are tied atop the standings at the conclusion of the opening day. Thursday will include 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 1-meter dive and the 200 free. Prelims begin at 11 a.m. with finals following at 6 p.m. and the entire day's action will be streamed live on ESPN+.
